What else is coming?

A directory of venues

Plenty of venues in Sutton Coldfield, all offering something different. Many venues are keen to host more community arts events.

So, to save you the legwork, we're building a directory with key information for each venue..

Collaborative multi-arts events

We're hearing that community arts groups of all kinds would like to get together to deliver joint events such as shows, concerts and exhibitions. We'll soon have useful info to help you arrange these if you need it, including where children, young people and vulnerable adults may be participating in your event.

Community arts participation model

We know belonging matters: our community arts participation model is essentially a local but important movement where we all have a part to play. After all, who doesn't like a special badge or logo.

Finally, talking of belonging, who have been involved in setting up TheSCAN?

A small group of Sutton Coldfield's community arts volunteers and professionals are bringing the initial community arts workshop ideas to life.

Local artists contributed to our initial rose logo design, with huge thanks to @ikew_design for turning initial suggestions into our very funky branding.

We are grateful to those in and around Sutton Coldfield who from the initial workshops onwards have been part of getting TheSCAN to this stage and beyond. Excited that this is the next chapter in Sutton Coldfield community arts!
